Theatre, television and film personality Ratan Thakore Grant’s active involvement in theatre spans over 25 years. Having played the protagonist in several well-remembered theatre productions which include Scripted, Children of a Lesser God, Come and See My City from Here and The Rainmaker, he has acted in and directed over 75 plays as well choreographed more than 25 Dance and Fashion Shows.

Film and Television credits include the lead in the award winning film The Outhouse, Jungle Boy (Hollywood) and TV series, Professor Vasan and South Parade. His latest movie Minus 1 released in 2005.

Ratan is Founder and Director of the Theatre Group MiSF!T (My Interest Stays Firmly In Theatre) and has directed multiple performances of the critically-acclaimed full-length play The Imaginary Invalid. His uniquely conceptualized Audience on the Mat series was covered on NDTV 24x7, Star News and ETV. A ‘catalyst guide and mentor’, Ratan inspires his group to new levels of creativity and presentation techniques. The result is a prolific outpouring of original plays.
